I just noticed I haven't posted in over a month! Sheesh! That's too long if you ask me. So just a few things...
I'm soooo excited for Thanksgiving next week! It'll be so nice to get together with family and EAT! WOOO!
I told the kids this morning that they need to start thinking of what to get each other for Christmas. They got so excited, and were all grins! I was a bit suprised at their reaction, but very pleased. Caleb was saying he's the first to get to go shopping for Sarah. I love to see the kids get excited about serving each other and showing their love for one another.
Speaking of kids... I'm going to be 16 weeks in 2 days! I can't believe I'm that far already! But at the same time, it's seemed like it's taken forever to get to this point. I'm feeling pretty much normal now, and just waiting patiently (ok, anxiously!) to feel some serious movement. I feel like I'm sort of in this limbo stage where I feel normal again, and I don't look really pregnant... so it kinda feels like I'm not? But I know I am... the baby didn't fall out in the night or anything! So yeah, I think I've felt movement already, but it's hard to really know for absolute sure. But my next appointment is on Friday. I hope all is well :)
And I can't forget Allen. My wonderful hubby! I've just been feeling more and more in love with him lately. Maybe it's the hormones or something, but I've just felt a greater appreciation and deeper love for him than I remember feeling before. He is such a perfect man for me, and I couldn't have found anyone better! He's a wonderful father to our kids and he's got just enough of a sensitive side to let his caring self come through. So if you ever read this Allen, I LOVE YOU! :)

Hello from NY!
Hi all! I just wanted to update here for a minute. I'm in NY now! I'm coming home tomorrow, so I wanted to update for fun while I'm here. We've been having a blast!!! We nearly killed ourselves on our first day here, just going and going alll day! That day we went to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, the New York Night tour, and some other stuff I can't remember because it's all blended together at this point, hehe. Some other things we've done are: Top of the Rock, saw people ice skating at Rockefeller center, Movie and T.V. sites tour, uptown tour that went all the way around Central Park (I fell asleep on that one hehe), saw the NYC temple, saw some missionaries walking down the sidewalk on the uptown tour and waved at them.. (they waved back even!), Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art... saw, drove through, walked through Times Square like 10 times or so... had NY pizza, which is good! and bagels... and ate at a couple diners which are big on Long Island, road the train several times, went to Old Stonybrook on Long Island (very cool old little town square type place!), ate a Greek place for my first time, went to Trader Joe's, stayed on the top (38th) floor (on the corner) at the downtown Marriot that looked right down into the World Trade center site, and over the NY skyline, sat on the top of an open-top double decker bus and went over the Manhattan bridge at night.. wow that was kinda scary! hehe.. saw where John Lennon was shot outside the building called the Dakota. Went into Saks Fifth Avenue and Macy's to use the toilet LOL! And that's all I can think of at the moment. If I think of anything else, which I probably will, I'll post it! But I miss my kids and hubby, soo much! I can't wait to see them tomorrow!
I'm outtie for now :)

Update
Hi all! I have quite a bit of news for this entry. So bear with me as I try to spill it all out!
We've decided NOT to sell our house. It really sounded like a fabulous idea at first, but as time went on, my gut was telling me no, NO, NOOOOO!! How can you deny that? It got to the point where it was making me physically sick to my stomach to think about moving. SO, here we will stay. At least for the time-being. I'm actually incredibly relieved at the thought, and I've realized some things about here that I didn't before. 1) I feel more at home than I realized. Magna has really grown on me. Yeah people think it's a dump. Who cares. I know it for what it really is, and I love it here. 2) I am more attatched to people here than I realized. Including people that don't even know I'm attatched to them. hehe.. But really, there are some wonderful people here, and even though they all may move away some day, (or we may as well) at least I can just enjoy the time with them now. 3) I don't think it would be a wise decision to move away. I think we're in a good place in so many different ways. Why have a bigger fatter mortgage, when I really don't NEED it? 4) I LOOOOOOVE my house! I have never loved a house so much. I really feel like this house is my home. It's MINE dangit! hehe.... ;) So anyway, those are my thoughts on that for now. So watch for the For Sale sign to be coming down in the near future.
Also on the news front... we have decided to announce the ginormous news that we are indeed expecting number 3. (Another reason not to worry about moving right now!) Yes, after a 5 year hiatus, my body is back in action! WOO! Well, we hope anyway. With my history of miscarriage, we can only pray that this one turns out, fully baked and ready for the world! (Be sure to check out the ticker at the bottom of the page for baby updates!)
On a lighter note, I am (probably) going to NYC in 2 weeks! (I say probbaly because it's possible I'm going to be so sick with morning sickness that I don't think I'll be able to go, but we're hoping that doesn't happen!) I've never been to NY and my mom and I are planning a little getaway. We're going to stay with her cousin on Long Island. I seriously know nothing about NYC, etc.. except all the tourist stuff that's there. So that should be fun. Anyone have any recommendations?
That's all for the moment.

Ok...
Yeah it's been a while, sorry :) I don't have my pics up of Missy, but maybe I'll get them up sometime.. :D
Well, lots of things going on right now! My boy starts school in about a week, he'll be in first grade. I can't believe it!! I really hope that this school is a good one. I have a wonderful charter school to compare it to from last year, so I hope is measures up somewhat. I'm really concerned about him learning his way and him thriving in school.
My girl is going to start preschool next month! It'll be really strange to have the mornings to myself, at least a couple days a week. I just can't believe my kids are as old as they are already.
Found out this week that my brother is moving back to St. George, the stinker. My mom is down there, so now it'll just be me up here, from my family. We'll sure miss my bro and his fam. The kids have played tons (they only live 5 mins drive away.) Ah well, such is life, eh?
I got another bird since my last post. Named him/her Sky. He/she is REALLY pretty... I'll really try and get pics up of the birds. Jack has loved him/her lots! Only problem is, now Jack is acting up and biting some, for some reason, which is kind of frustrating. I don't understand it, but oh well. As long as he's happy.
I have new travel plans! My mom and I are going to NY in October! I'm kinda nervous about it, since we'll be in NYC some, and flying and all that, but I think I'll be ok. I just worry about stuff like that more now that I have kids. But I'm a firm believer that if it's your time to go, then you'll go. And I really don't think it's my time yet!
That's it for now!!!

"The Business of Being Born"
Every woman who is planning on having a baby should watch this documentary! (Even if she's already had children). I'm very passionate about this topic, and if anyone would like to discuss anything with me, please let me know! Thanks! :)
Not too much...
Well, not too much in the way of "Big and Exciting" going on right now. I'm sure glad it's warming up and things are turning green though!!! We planted 2 fruit trees a couple weekends ago, and we're new to fruit trees! So I hope they do well and we can take care of them right. We also installed some low-voltage lighting on our front walkway, and it looks COOL! I must say, I did a great job ;) (Any of you in my neighborhood should check them out in the evening some time, you'll like em! haha!) Anyway, let's see.... I can't believe school is almost over!!! It's crazy! I will sure miss Canyon Rim and all the people I've met there, and had the opportunity to work with. They've become really great friends and it makes me sad to think I won't see them every day anymore. I'll have to go back sometimes next school year to say hello. I hope that our experience with PG can be just as good as CRA has been.
Well I think that's all for tonight :)

Hola!
Well today was fun as toast. Yes toast. Toast is not fun, obviously... I had Mickey today, and I admit, she was a little bit stressful. Maybe I'm hormonal or something. I probably am. But she is getting further into toddler-hood and is getting to be quite the handful at times! But ah well, I love her guts anyway.
I'm also wondering why, as life goes on, it just seems to get more and more stressful. I remember when I just used to ... be. And things didn't pile up like they are now. I really just can't wait until this school year is over and I don't have to take Bob clear across town every single day. It's not helping!
Well there's really not much else going on, I'm really tired though, and am wondering what's taking Hubby so long? I miss him...
But on a happy note! I love my new Serta memory foam mattress topper. Slept on it for the first time last night. It's loverly!

What American accent do you have? Your Result: The Midland "You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio. | |

Happy FHE!
Well tonight was good. Had FHE with the fam... went to Arctic "Squirrel" and got shakes. Then for a ride, and back home and sang hymns/primary songs while I played the piano. It was really nice! It was a beautiful evening, and I made the discovery of a really cool old Catholic church in Magna I'd never seen before. (And we've lived here for almost 6 years!) It was cool! And right as we drove by, the "bells" chimed. (Allen said it was recording coming over a speaker? I'd never even thought about it and he kinda ruined my moment!) So yeah, it was a pleasant night.
I've been missing something recently. I try to pick my own brain and figure out what exactly is going on in my head. I can't decide whether it's my childhood I miss? Or an actual place? I was driving in my van today and was thinking about how my visit was when I went to Omaha, and how I felt there. I was realizing that I feel more at home there (haven't lived there in 22 years) then I do in SLC (where I've been for 6 years.) It's odd really, and I don't understand it yet. But I hope that I can feel at home and where I belong someday.
Well that's all for tonight.
